TEACHERS


ANNIA MONTERO ZÚÑIGA

Teacher Annia  has 2 Diplomas and a Bachelor degree in education from the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED). She is one of the teachers who developed the program CPI Spanish online classes and created the virtual material that is currently used.  With much creativity and passion she teaches both online and immersion program classes.  Annia is also a trainer and evaluator of the DELE exams, she has received Cervantes Institute of Spain  courses that have allowed her to be better prepare for the challenges posed by DELE. She works as a teacher at CPI since 2007.


GINETTE MATARRITA SOLANO

Teacher Ginnette has a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the National University (UNA) and is currently studying English teaching. Her extensive knowledge and experience in teaching Spanish as a second language, make her classes very entertaining and enjoyable;  she has been working for CPI  since 2006. Together with teacher  Annia Montero, Ginnette was also one of the  developers of the program CPI Spanish online classes and created the virtual material currently used in classes. She has received the Cervantes Institute of Spain courses and is a trainer and evaluator of the DELE exams.


JUDITH SALAZAR ROSALES

Teacher Judith is one of the most experienced teachers in CPI, she has worked at CPI as a teacher of Spanish second language since 1997. She has taken a variety of courses to consolidate her training as a Spanish teacher, the courses have been given by the Cervantes Institute of Spain, the University of Costa Rica (UCR) and the Technological Institute of Costa Rica (TEC). She is a trainer and evaluator of the DELE exams. Her vast experience has enabled her to become a teacher of the British Ambassador in Costa Rica, and other British and Canadian diplomats. Teacher Judith also teaches specialized programs in Spanish such as business, social work and medical programs.


LUCY MARIN

Teacher Lucy is also one of the most experienced teachers in CPI, she has worked at CPI as a teacher of Spanish second language since 2000. She has taken a variety of courses and workshops to consolidate her training as a Spanish teacher, which have been given by the Cervantes Institute of Spain, the National University, the University of Costa Rica and the Technological Institute of Costa Rica. She is a trainer and evaluator of the DELE exams. Her vast experience has enabled her to become a teacher of the British Ambassador in Costa Rica, and other Canadian diplomats. Teacher Lucy also teaches specialized Spanish programs such as business, social work and medical programs.


BIBIANA SOTO VARGAS

Teacher Bibiana works for CPI since 2010, began as a teacher of immersion classes and from 2013 she was trained to be a teacher for online classes.  Bibiana has a Bachelor degree awarded by the National University in Biology, and is close to completing the Bachelor degree in Teaching at Distance Education University (UNED). Teacher Bibiana has also taken courses with Instituto Cervantes for online classes tutor and has received all the CPI special training required to work as a second language teacher.
